Business Development Manager for the Energy Sector (m/f)
Location: Katowice, Poland
Based on the knowledge of the energy sector as well as practical experience, the successful candidate will be able to identify new business opportunities, further develop strategic partnerships, and strengthen the company’s presence in both domestic and international markets.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering (preferably in Nuclear Engineering, Power Engineering or related fields).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the nuclear sector or other power sector projects, relating to relevant activities, e.g. engineering, manufacturing, certification, inspection, EPC, QA/QC, or supply chain management.
- Excellent understanding of the Polish energy market, particularly the Polish Nuclear Energy Program (PPEJ).
- Having a network in the energy business including industry influencers and key decision-makers like utilities, EPC contractors, authorities and market stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of public procurement procedures.
- Experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the industrial or energy sector, including market entry strategies, sales pipeline development, competitor analysis, and business planning.
- Experience in international projects.
- Fluent Polish and very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level, C1 preferred).
- Documented strong sales and negotiation skills, including experience in selling high-value technical services.
- Willingness to travel on business.
- High level of independence, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Team building and Leadership experience.
