Leak testing (LT) - LEVEL I and II

Leak testing (LT), used to detect impermeability defects. The test substance penetrates into the defect cavity either by pressure difference or by capillary forces. This method allows the control of welded joints of sheet structures in which it is technologically impossible to create excess pressure.

This method is suitable for:

• for sealed objects
• оpen non-leakproof objects;
• for objects with one-way access to the controlled surface;
• for objects for which immersion method is not suitable.
