TÜV NORD Italia certified FERRARI CHALLENGE NORTH AMERICA 2023 as per Sustainable Event Management System ISO 20121

In a historic moment for motorsport, the Ferrari Challenge North America became the first one-make racing car series in the US to achieve the ISO 20121 certification for sustainable event management issued by TÜV NORD Italia.

On February 20th 2023, for the first time in its history, the Ferrari Challenge North America achieved the ISO 20121certification, the international standard for sustainable event management, issued by the certification body TÜV NORD Italia.

The Ferrari Challenge North America is a single-brand championship present in the United States and Canada since 1994. It represents one of the four continental series of the Ferrari Challenge, along with the Europe, Asia-Pacific and the United Kingdom ones. The championship is sanctioned by the IMSA (International Motor Sports Association).

The Ferrari Challenge North America 2023 season consists of seven race weekends, from March to October, at seven different circuits: Homestead-Miami Speedway (USA), Circuit of the Americas (USA), Raceway Road Atlanta (USA), Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (Canada), Sonoma Raceway (USA), Road America (USA) and Mugello Circuit (Italy), where the Finali Mondiali takes place.

Ferrari Challenge North America is the first ever one-make racing car series and actually motorsport series in USA with the ISO 20121 certification.

The standard applies in the design, planning and execution of the Ferrari Challenge North America 2023. It demonstrates Ferrari North America’s commitment to implementinga responsible management system, integrating it with the five pillars of Ferrari S.p.A.’s sustainability strategy.

Environmental, social, and economic impact characteristics were analyzed, also to involve and influence all stakeholders (staff, suppliers, circuits, drivers, teams, dealers, guests, media, sponsors and the local communities).
