Drinking and Driving

Be careful after the Christmas or New Year's Eve celebration

Drinking and driving - that does not fit together! Responsible drivers therefore rely on public transportation after celebrating or by taking a taxi. Unfortunately, the risk of residual alcohol the following morning is still underestimated by many motorists.

The human body decomposes only 0.1 per mill per hour. Anyone who commits a driving error, endangers the traffic or even causes an accident.

Per thousand until noon

Depending on the constitution, height, weight and shape of the day, alcohol is tolerated differently. If a man weighing 80 kilograms drinks five large beers and five schnapps, he quickly reaches 1.5 per thousand or more. If he goes to bed at one o'clock in the morning, he still has 0.3 per thousand in his blood at 1 o'clock the next day.

For novice drivers where the tolerance is zero, you may even have to wait to be able to drive until 4 pm in the afternoon. If you celebrate New Year's Eve until three in the morning and drink too much alcohol, you should not move the car on New Year's Day.
