According to latest SFDA guidelines which came into effect on November 1, 2018, all foodstuffs imported into Saudi Arabia from India must be tested for pesticide residues and contaminants by SFDA approved laboratory and all consignments exported from India to Saudi Arabia must be supported by the relevant test results from an approved laboratory as per the technical and approved standard specification as per SFDA protocols.
