NDT - PED / EN473

NDT does not permanently alter the article being inspected, it is a highly-valuable technique that can save both money and time in product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research.

NDT personnel qualification according to ISO 9712 (EN 473) is basic qualification required to perform and evaluate NDT results for all the NDT activities for European Applications and ISO.

NDT Personnel Qualification to perform NDT of permanent joints in pressure equipment is required as per PED 2014/68/EU, Annex 1 section 3.1.3 and shall be approved by Recognised Third Party Organisation (RTPO).

TUV India as authorised examination centre conduct above examination in India for the methods, VT, MT, PT, RT, UT, ET, LT in Level 1, 2 and 3.

Certificate will be issued by TÜV NORD Czech, s.r.o as Czech accredited institute as per EN ISO 17024 (for ISO 9712) and RTPO (for PED) with Notified Body No. 3197

 TUV India is conducting open house examination throughout the year at PUNE and other locations as per demand. Regularly we are conducting these examination in the month of May, October and February in Pune. 

To appear for the examination candidates shall have relevant experience in the method applied for and shall provide

• Documentary evidence that he has satisfactorily completed training as required by ISO 9712 covering syllabus of ISO / TR 25107
• It is recommended that training organisation shall follow the guidelines of ISO / TR 25108, TUV India can provide details of such organisations recognised by TÜV NORD Czech Scope of examination and certification will be strictly as per ISO 9712, ISO / TR 25107 and TÜV NORD Czech Accreditation requirements
