Field Quality Engineer – Mechanical

Project Manager / Head Quality / General Manager - Renewable 

• Minimum 3 Years of Experience during Construction, Erection, Installation & Commissioning of  Renewable (Solar / Wind / Transmission Line) Projects 
• Inspection Experience in WTG Components (Tower, Blade, Hub & Nacelle) Manufacturing
   

• B.E./ B. Tech Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical 
• Knowledge on IS / ASTM / ASNT Codes, Material Testing
• Qualified in NDT Level II 
• GWO Certified for Site Inspection activities
   

• Inspection of Incoming materials (Gear Box, Generator, Yaw Drive, Pitch Drive, Yaw Bearing, Pitch Bearing, ECS and Fabrication Items)
• Assembly process inspection of Tower, Blade, Nacelle & Hub assembly
• Final Inspection of Tower, Blade, Nacelle & Hub
• Final Pre dispatch Inspection as per QAP
• Quality dossier checking and signing as per QAP
• BOQ, MIR, NCR related documentation
• Site Supervision / Quality Inspection of WTG Erection at Project site
• Looking after each and every quality related work of wind turbine according to protocol
• Inspection of Fixtures, Torque
• Checking Crane movement planning
• Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards)
• Review of  Methodology Statement/ Process Flow/ ITP/ Test Plan
• Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Inspection Reports
• Reporting Non Conformance, Identifying Route Cause and Recommending Corrective action
   

• Well organized and structured, with the ability to work effectively against deadlines
• Very good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• High degree of integrity and make decisions required by role’s responsibility
• Capable of coordinating work within the project and handling conflict resolutions
