Business Development Manager, TUV India - Bangladesh Operations

Qualification and Experience Required

BE, MBA (Marketing, Finance, Strategy) with good academic track record. Min 10 years’ experience in business administration, management consulting Project management or Strategic initiatives in a medium to large scale industry. Preference will be given to person from Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) background.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Develop Business for TUV India – Bangladesh operations in the field of Inspection, Certification, Sustainability, Railways, Renewables, Construction & Training. 

Job Profile

  • Propose, co-ordinate and implement business development strategies for the development of Bangladesh operations. 
  • Develop Business Plan for TUV India – Bangladesh operations
  • Periodic business development review to highlight the progress, gaps and further actions to be aligned to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved in time.
  • Suggest strategic business development initiatives and priorities.
  • Provide valuable benchmarking for management as well as timely insights to various BUs. 
  • Conducting research, market survey, relevant information and suitably review & implement strategies.
  • Perform sales and marketing activities of the company and establish appropriate systems and processes to grow the customers and market share of TUV India – Bangladesh operations
  • Proactive engagement of the existing and potential customers for the effective delivery of agreed budgets and targets for sales, marketing and account management support. 
  • Create and implement sales plans to grow TUV India presence in target user market and geographic sectors across Bangladesh. 
  • Work with BUHs to agree positioning strategies for their product specific services.
  • Formulate as well as assist company strategies to diversify in new complementary markets and products
  • Assist in annual business planning process for upcoming corporate initiatives and operating framework.
  • Identify top 10 Growing sectors in India along with potentials customers of 20 Nos. in each sectors and lead an all vertical approach to such large clients.  
  • Identify the opportunities for TUV India – Bangladesh operations and map with our existing sector’s, if TUV India Not Present, Prepare the strategy and present to BUHs.
  • Specific strategic initiatives towards Digital Marketing, Social Media success and brand visibility
  • Through the in-depth understanding of user needs, identify new opportunities and markets for offering TUV India services. 
  • Monitor and manage sales and support processes across Bangladesh
  • Coordinate the exercises designed to capture the Voice of the Customer; 
  • Focus on continuous improvement so also propose and develop new services for TUV India – Bangladesh operations.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by BUHs
