Indonesia’s carbon market advances, with TÜV NORD Indonesia at the forefront

Last Friday, TÜV NORD Indonesia, represented by Gosha Muhammad, had the honor of attending the MoU signing between the Ministry of Environment (KLHK) and VERRA, along with Puro. earth (LoI signing) and Gold Standard (joint announcement). As one of the invited Validation & Verification Bodies (LVV/VVBs), our presence represents more than participation it represents positioning.

We’re proud to stand among the few entities trusted to support Indonesia’s transition toward a credible, transparent, and scalable carbon market. This milestone marks more than a ceremony it’s a turning point toward Article 6 readiness, international market alignment, and stronger integrity safeguards for carbon projects.

For carbon project developers and technical experts, the message is clear:

  • The market is opening.
  • Global alignment is accelerating.
  • The demand for credible MRV and trusted partnerships fast.

As Indonesia moves toward a transparent and trusted carbon market, TÜV NORD Indonesia is proud to stand at the forefront ensuring credibility, integrity, and global alignment every step of the way.
