Theme Park Inspection

Playgrounds and theme parks are a source of joy for many children and children at heart. In order to ensure their health and safety, every piece of playground and theme park equipment must comply with the applicable safety requirements. Any equipment which does not, may pose risks to the health and safety of a vulnerable group.

There are several standards that have been designed to ensure the safety of playgrounds and amusement rides during operation, such as:

• EN1176-1/2/3/4/5/6/7/10 - European Safety Standards for children’s play areas,
• EN12572-1 – Artificial climbing structures,
• EN15567 – Sports and recreational facilities,
• EN13814 – Fairground and amusement park machinery and structures
