Construction Supervision

The Construction Division manages investment projects and performs construction supervision during design and construction in accordance with the Spatial Development Act (SDA). It assesses project quality and technical condition, evaluates existing buildings and facilities, and performs expert reviews, inspections, and certification of completed buildings & facilities, ensuring compliance & safety

Provides consultations and assistance to investors in the following areas:

Urban planning status of the construction site;
Engineering-geological and hydrogeological conditions;
Selection of designer, supervisor, and contractor;
Fee structure for design and supervision;
Feasibility of capital investments;
Obtaining design permits and approval letters from state and municipal authorities and utility companies;
Preparation of tender documents;
Control of construction works, quantities, and costs;
Investor and construction supervision for projects financed by commercial bank loans.

TÜV NORD Bulgaria Ltd. holds License No. LK‑000196, valid until 19.10.2029, authorizing the assessment of investment project compliance and/or the execution of construction supervision under Art. 166, para. 2 of the Spatial Development Act (ZUT).

The company has been performing construction supervision since 1999.

Since 2003, TÜV NORD Bulgaria has executed construction supervision/technical control for repair and construction works under the “Beautiful Bulgaria” Project – a joint initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) in Pazardzhik Municipality.
