SPEED-02: Course following MPU (Ü1)
Course for drivers associated with drugs abuse according to §70 of the German Driving Licence Ordinance (Fahrerlaubnisverordnung) - (Ü2)
If you have already undergone a medical-psychological assessment (MPU) because of drug abuse on the roads, and are now obliged to attend a course for drivers perceived to have drug-related problems, SPEED-02 is the right course for you. Our course for this group of drivers is recognised by the relevant authorities and guarantees reinstatement or new issue of your driving licence.
Course content
You have already recognised that drugs abuse has done you harm and you now abstain from taking drugs. In the course for drivers with drug-related problems you will learn about the function drugs had in your life, working in a small group with the support of a competent traffic psychologist. In the SPEED-02 course, you will also learn to recognise when you are at risk of relapsing, to avoid this and you will also discover how to live your new life in a positive way.
Form of the course
SPEED-02 involves playing an active part in six seminar sessions, during which time you must be free of drugs. We make sure that during the course we create an atmosphere where it is possible to talk about the personal reasons why you turned to drugs without stress or pressure.
After the last session and drugs screening which proves negative, you will receive a certificate of attendance to present to your driving licence authority. In other words, you do not need to take a final examination or anything similar. Following successful participation in this course after the medical-psychological examination your driving licence will be returned to you.
