Moped test certificate
Things get going at 25 km/h
Finally 15 - Time for a moped. We tell you how you can really get moving for the first time. The "motor-assisted bicycles" have max. 50 cc engine displacement and travel up to 25 km/h.
This is not a fully fledged driving license
The moped driving license is actually only a test certificate. It certifies that you have taken the required theory lessons and a 90-minute driving test. The training is concluded with a theoretical test.
The effort required is relatively low. And the costs are minimal. The moped test certificate is valid indefinitely. Those born before the 1.4.1965 can ride a moped without the certificate.
Off to a good start!

To acquire the moped test certificate, you must complete theoretical and practical training. Contact a driving school or a school approved for this training. |
Theory prior to practice
Theoretical training comprises at least six double-lessons each lasting 90 minutes, only one of which you are allowed to miss.
In groups numbering no more than 20 each, participants learn the rules of proper and considerate conduct in road traffic.
Impermissible adjustments to mopeds is a topic in itself. Be aware of what technical manipulations mean for you, for safety, your fellow road users and the environment.
The first 90 minutes of your motorized life

We are now starting the practical training. This generally takes only 90 minutes. For group tuition with no more than four participants, you will need two double lessons of 90 minutes each. The aim of this first drive: to feel safe. The curriculum includes starting and stopping, driving in a straight line at walking pace, circling, turning, breaking and avoiding obstacles. To ensure there are no incidents, you will practice away from traffic. Erring on the side of caution. |
