Environmental report
City building plans often lead to conflicts with regard to the environment. Contemporary land use planning aims to avoid such conflicts before they occur.
In the environmental report, the environmental concerns are incorporated in concept considerations at an early stage, and appropriate attention is paid to them. This allows us to investigate the effects of subsequent implementation of plans and programmes on the environment at an early stage in the planning process, long before individual projects are approved.
