Measurements
Tracking emissions
Which substances are contained in the exhaust air of an industrial system, a power plant, or a chemical purification plant? Requirements in the licensing notice and official requirements require operators of such installations to submit exact emission measurements.
Here, TÜV NORD is your experienced partner with good contacts at the authorities: We have state-of-the-art technical equipment plus longstanding expertise in this area and we therefore ensure that the measurement process is carried out smoothly and provides meaningful results.
Cash value
Emission measurements not only make sense within the context of regulatory specifications, but these tests can also be critical for any warranty claims when a new exhaust purification system is handed over to the buyer. Furthermore, it verifies compliance with prescribed limit values for guaranteeing the respective bonuses stipulated in the renewable energies law (EEG) and therefore, has a cash value.
Equipment for all cases
TÜV NORD is a recognized measurement centre in accordance with §§ 26 and 28 of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) for measuring a broad spectrum of material groups. Our team is just as equipped for special measurement activities, such as aerosol measurements or fractional particle measurement ("PM 10"), as it is for combining odour and component measurements or adapting the measurement processes to unusual conditions, such as emissions with 90 volume % vapour share. This also allows us, for example, to visualise and evaluate heavily fluctuating changes in emissions (e.g. wood firing, drying processes) directly onsite. The measurement process is coordinated with the production requirements, and because the measurement planning is closely coordinated with you and the public authorities, you are guaranteed a resilient measurement result.
