IGN Ingenieurgesellschaft Nord works as an expert technical service-provider for companies, associations, authorities and institutes.
As a competent centre, its staff mainly advise engineers and physicists on design questions relating to steam and pressure technology, container, apparatus and piping construction, and also in areas such as conveyor technology, steel construction and engineering, with particular emphasis on calculation-based services. These include strength calculations, product developments, consultation and assessments and software development. Individual and complex services are also available, such as feasibility studies, drafting activities, the compilation of planning and production documentation, as well as construction supervision, construction management, acceptance procedures and the required project management. IGN works mainly throughout Germany, but is also active in the rest of Europe.
