Certification in conformity with national / international road traffic laws
KBA Certification is important for all companies that require an EC operating permit, EC design or type permit from the Federal Office for Motor Traffic (KBA). Emphasis is placed on the certification of the quality management system and the verification of the production plants by TÜV NORD CERT in keeping with national/international road traffic laws.
TÜV NORD CERT can confirm that your production conformity with the following directives and guidelines (Conformity of Production):
- Framework Directive 70/156/EEC, Attachment X, No. 2
- Requirements of the ECE Regulations
- StVZO § 19 (3) (Highway Code) in conjunction with Attachment XIX (national law) as the precondition to obtain parts certificates
KBA certification supplements the Quality Management Standard DIN EN ISO 9001. This certification can be combined with other automobile regulations such as ISO/TS 16949 or VDA Volume 6.
You will be attended to by a single partner - TÜV NORD CERT (Certification Office of TÜV NORD) conducts the homologation procedure jointly with the Institute for Automobile Technology and Mobility (IFM).
