Harald Reutter becomes Industrial Relations Director and is appointed to the Management Board
Hanover: Harald Reutter will become Labour Director of TÜV NORD Group and will join the Management Board as Head of the Training and Human Resources Division on 1 February 2012. He succeeds Holger W. Sievers, who is entering retirement.
Harald Reutter, who is 55 years old, studied French and Law at the University of Heidelberg, and following an extended period in France, became Deputy Human Resources Director at the Public Services, Transport and Traffic Union (ÖTV) in Stuttgart in 1991. In 2001 he moved to the Federal Board of the United Services Union (ver.di) in Berlin as Public Relations Director, and then came to TÜV NORD Mobilität in 2009 as Chief Executive and Labour Director.
Reutter has announced that TÜV NORD will continue to focus strongly on its training and further training activities: “We intend to open up even more new employment opportunities for people in the future. Education, training and professional qualifications are becoming a decisive factor for those seeking success in global markets, and we are a strong and reliable partner for companies and individuals in this context. We also want to make more use of our competence in the training sector on the international stage.”
